Privacy notice

1Who we are

This notice explains how Nhako, a business in Malaysia, handles personal data on nhako.com and when you contact us. We are the data user for this site under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Nhako Tools, NhakoSearch and NhakoCapture each have their own privacy notice on their own site, because each works differently.

2What we collect

When you only browse this site, we collect nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no forms and no advertising tags on nhako.com, and the site sets no cookies. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records the page you view, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system, device type and country. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and recognises a repeat visit only by a temporary code that is thrown away after 24 hours, so it cannot follow you across days or other sites. We only ever see totals.

When you contact us by email, WhatsApp or phone, we receive what you choose to send: usually your name, email address or phone number, your company, and what you tell us about your project, timeline and budget.

When we work together, we also keep quotations, invoices, payment records and project correspondence.

We do not buy personal data and we do not collect it about you from anyone else.

3Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, scope your project and send a quotation.
To deliver the work, invoice it and keep the business and tax records the law requires.
To keep our own correspondence in order.
To see, as anonymous totals, which pages are read and which buttons are pressed, so we can improve the site.

We never sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing. We will only message you about your enquiry or project.

4Services that handle data for us

A few providers handle data so this site and our inbox work. Some of them store data outside Malaysia.

Vercel hosts nhako.com and runs its visit counts (Vercel Web Analytics). Like any web host, its servers see your IP address and the pages you request, and may keep short-lived logs to run and protect the service.
Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google sees your IP address.
Google (Gmail) hosts our email inbox.
Meta (WhatsApp) carries WhatsApp messages you send us.
Instagram, Threads, TikTok and GitHub only receive data if you follow a link to them, under their own policies.

5What your browser keeps

The site saves two small things in your own browser, never sent to us: your day or night theme choice (local storage) and where the butterflies are flying between pages (session storage, cleared when you close the tab). You can clear both in your browser settings at any time.

6How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become a project: up to 24 months after our last message, then deleted.
Project records, quotations and invoices: for the length of the project plus 7 years, as Malaysian tax and business law requires.

7Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email nhako.root@gmail.com and we will respond within 21 days. We may need to confirm who you are first.

Giving us your details is voluntary. If you would rather not, we may not be able to reply to your enquiry or carry out a project for you.

8Keeping it safe

Access to our inbox and project files is limited to the people working on your project, protected with strong passwords and two-factor sign-in. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords or card numbers by email or WhatsApp.

9Children

This site and our services are meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

10Questions and complaints

Write to nhako.root@gmail.com or WhatsApp +60 11-1029 9771. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi).

11Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update it on this page with a new date. If the English and Bahasa Melayu versions ever differ, the English version applies.

Notis ini menerangkan cara Nhako, sebuah perniagaan di Malaysia, mengendalikan data peribadi di nhako.com dan apabila anda menghubungi kami. Kami ialah pengguna data bagi laman ini di bawah Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 (PDPA).

Nhako Tools, NhakoSearch dan NhakoCapture masing-masing mempunyai notis privasi sendiri di laman mereka.

2Apa yang kami kumpul

Jika anda hanya melayari laman ini, kami tidak mengumpul apa-apa yang mengenal pasti anda. Tiada akaun, borang atau tag pengiklanan di nhako.com, dan laman ini tidak menetapkan kuki. Kami mengira lawatan dengan Vercel Web Analytics, yang merekod halaman yang dilihat, laman yang merujuk anda, pelayar, sistem pengendalian, jenis peranti dan negara. Ia tidak menggunakan kuki, tidak menyimpan alamat IP anda, dan hanya mengenali lawatan berulang melalui kod sementara yang dibuang selepas 24 jam. Kami hanya melihat jumlah keseluruhan.

Apabila anda menghubungi kami melalui e-mel, WhatsApp atau telefon, kami menerima apa yang anda pilih untuk hantar: biasanya nama, alamat e-mel atau nombor telefon, syarikat, dan maklumat projek, tempoh dan bajet anda.

Apabila kita bekerjasama, kami juga menyimpan sebut harga, invois, rekod pembayaran dan surat-menyurat projek.

Kami tidak membeli data peribadi dan tidak mengumpulnya tentang anda daripada pihak lain.

3Mengapa kami menggunakannya

Untuk membalas pertanyaan anda, menentukan skop projek dan menghantar sebut harga.
Untuk menyiapkan kerja, mengeluarkan invois dan menyimpan rekod perniagaan dan cukai yang dikehendaki undang-undang.
Untuk menyusun surat-menyurat kami sendiri.
Untuk melihat, sebagai jumlah tanpa nama, halaman yang dibaca dan butang yang ditekan, supaya laman ini boleh diperbaiki.

Kami tidak sekali-kali menjual atau menyewakan data peribadi anda, dan tidak menggunakannya untuk pemasaran.

4Perkhidmatan yang mengendalikan data untuk kami

Beberapa penyedia mengendalikan data supaya laman dan peti masuk kami berfungsi. Sebahagiannya menyimpan data di luar Malaysia.

Vercel mengehos nhako.com dan menjalankan kiraan lawatan (Vercel Web Analytics). Ia melihat alamat IP serta halaman yang anda minta, dan mungkin menyimpan log jangka pendek.
Google Fonts menyediakan fon laman ini, jadi Google melihat alamat IP anda.
Google (Gmail) mengehos peti masuk e-mel kami.
Meta (WhatsApp) membawa mesej WhatsApp yang anda hantar kepada kami.
Instagram, Threads, TikTok dan GitHub hanya menerima data jika anda mengikuti pautan ke sana, di bawah dasar mereka sendiri.

5Apa yang disimpan pelayar anda

Laman ini menyimpan dua perkara kecil dalam pelayar anda sendiri dan tidak dihantar kepada kami: pilihan tema siang atau malam (storan tempatan) dan kedudukan rama-rama antara halaman (storan sesi, dipadam apabila tab ditutup).

6Berapa lama kami menyimpannya

Pertanyaan yang tidak menjadi projek: sehingga 24 bulan selepas mesej terakhir, kemudian dipadam.
Rekod projek, sebut harga dan invois: sepanjang projek ditambah 7 tahun, seperti dikehendaki undang-undang cukai dan perniagaan Malaysia.

7Hak anda

Di bawah PDPA anda boleh meminta salinan data peribadi anda yang kami simpan, membetulkannya, menghentikan atau mengehadkan penggunaannya, atau menarik balik persetujuan. E-mel nhako.root@gmail.com dan kami akan membalas dalam tempoh 21 hari.

Memberi butiran anda adalah secara sukarela. Jika anda tidak mahu, kami mungkin tidak dapat membalas pertanyaan atau menjalankan projek untuk anda.

8Soalan dan aduan

Tulis kepada nhako.root@gmail.com atau WhatsApp +60 11-1029 9771. Jika anda tidak berpuas hati dengan jawapan kami, anda boleh membuat aduan kepada Pesuruhjaya Perlindungan Data Peribadi Malaysia (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi).

9Perubahan notis

Jika notis ini berubah, kami akan mengemas kininya di halaman ini dengan tarikh baharu. Jika versi Bahasa Melayu dan Inggeris berbeza, versi Inggeris terpakai.
